Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there! May your day be filled with love and lots of hugs from those you love. I can’t believe our son Luca has finished his first year of college! Wow… not sure where that year went, but it went! We survived our first year of being “empty-nesters” Yahoo. He’s in Dallas at S.M.U. so he’s a short plane ride away and we had so much fun visiting him and meeting his new friends. When Mother’s Day rolls around I’m always so grateful to be a mom, especially Luca’s mom, and I feel so blessed every single day to have my mom and my husband Derek’s mom.

It’s a wonderful gift to be a mother because you have the chance to revisit all these wonderful experiences and see the world through the eyes of your young adults.

Luca, thank you for so many wonderful memories from the day you were born, you are a true gift to your dad and I… and you’re the best traveler ever!!!

Yes, I’m a fan of sweats and now I have quite a few since the pandemic began, but I’m most comfortable in a great pair of jeans and during the week I enjoy getting semi-dressed as if it’s a workday. I find I’m far more productive working when I’m “put together,” and, lately, I’ve been living in Frame jeans. They’re the perfect solution to “dressing up” and looking chic while remaining comfortable. The last few months I’ve been making an effort to have fun with my style when I’m off the market. I know many places in different states are open but here in L.A., the market has become a runway for busting out your style! Here’s what I love about Frame—there is a distinctly European aesthetic. It is collections take inspiration from a French way of "dressed up casual" embodied by the style icons of the 1970s.

No outfit is complete without a perfect makeup look! , I wanted to share a few products for a quick flawless look. I change around my makeup products often, but I’ve found that these are the best choices for a natural, full coverage and under 5 minutes look, I personally like a full coverage most times. If you aren’t familiar with Rodial Banana Lowlighter, this is the BEST I’ve found, it does the trick for coverage and lighting the dark areas. Rodial powder - highlighter and brow gel from Merit Beauty (clean beauty) are two new products I recommend. I fill in my brows every day and this one works really well. I’m new to the Orcé brand and this foundation for coverage is outstanding! I add a little face oil to it for a super smooth application and dewy look. Perfect pink lip color from Jouer this is one of the best pinks I’ve found. Just wanted to share a few favorite things on my weekly rotation. And yes, I did go to the market all “gussied “up!
