Blush, Boldness & A Little Superpower Energy for 2025

In 2025, we might all need a cape—to be superwomen, superhumans, and unapologetically bold

Sipping tea or coffee solo can be the perfect therapy—second only to a little retail therapy. There's something about letting your mind wander, daydreaming about what’s next, that feels like a productive escape, especially in a cape, and not wasted time. This spring, blush pink is making its mark, bringing a soft yet confident energy to the season.

And let’s talk about tights—because they’re the ultimate camouflage when rocking a shorter skirt. No shame in that my fashionista friends! Don’t leave home without your Readers. and a good book.

I love mixing high-end bags and shoes with trendy, budget-friendly finds—because great style isn’t about price tags; it’s about attitude. This Zara Skort was the right price!

So why not wear the heels, even if it’s just from the car to the restaurant and back? Sometimes, you just want to stand tall and feel sexy, heels or not. So here’s to stepping into spring with a little more confidence, a little more fun, and flair.

Thank you so much for reading and following along, and I’m so ready for the new season of White Lotus!! How about you! xoxo, janet

ZARA LEOPARD DRESS X BOTTEGA VENETA

I recently found a perfect travel dress on Zara’s website—a lightweight leopard print that's easy to wear with heels, sneakers, or sandals.

It's priced well and has quickly become one of my favorite dresses from their website. Reminder: there's no need to spend much money on fashion, especially on trends… not that leopard is a trend; it’s my favorite color!! It's all about having options. Pairing high-end classic bags or shoes with more affordable pieces can create a stylish "just the right price" outfit every time.

This mini bag I got in Rome several years ago is available in year-round colors. It is also a good travel option for evening attire and elevates simple, clean, classic looks. Affordable options

Zara Leopard Dress—Great dress!! I got an XS. It hangs really nicely and does not have a tight fit. The bag on the right is similar to the original “Cassette” Bottega—at a good price!

These shoes are on Poshmark and look like they are in great shape! It’s really all about that pop of color.

For those who love to wear headscarves, I thought these were really pretty on Amazon. The one I’m wearing below is from Hermes. It’s over 20 years old and never goes out of style… just like this fabulous old T-bird! Actually… I’m becoming vintage!~

Riding in style in this classic 55 Thunderbird - Glasses in yellow.

Just a little living room time with Buster. Also, I have The FootCloud gel cushions on the inside. The bottom of these shoes are super thin… These gel cushions are a foot-saver!!

Leopard print: the epitome of sass.

How is your summer going so far? I’m enjoying everyone’s travel photos; it’s always inspiring, and I love everyone’s fashion! Wherever you’re headed, have fun!
