Springing Into Spring in Veronica Beard Fashion

I think I have more blazers in my closet than anything else, well… besides denim. Veronica Beard Blazers, along with Anine Bing, are my top two go-to’s for fashion, fit, and overall classic styles. I always feel pulled together when wearing Veronica Beard, and Annie Bing is more of a casual, oversized, and every day go-to.

VB does cut for petite or if you’re looking for a more tailored fit. I also have quite a few VB jeans. I usually get the cropped ones, so I’m not making a trip to the tailor.

These blue pants fit great and, together with the blazer, put you in the mood for spring! I recently co-hosted an event for their new boutique in Newport Beach at Fashion Island if you’re in the area.

Age clearly has nothing to do with what you should or shouldn't wear. After all, it's just a number. That said, it's sometimes intriguing to learn about the trends women with more experienced sartorial points of view are into. And that's where Janet Gunn and Cathy Williamson come in. These fashion influencers are over 60 and have spent years fine-tuning their wardrobes. When it comes to footwear specifically, they both agree that there are a few key boot trends that work best for them and actually work for anyone at any age because they're all highly versatile.

In terms of shoes, the silhouette that reigned supreme were flat, chunky styles. Given that comfort is of utmost importance these days with a focus on relaxed fashion, it’s no surprise that a flat shoe made it to the top of the list. On that note, we thought we’d ask Gunn and Meyers for a full edit of the flat shoes they’re gravitating towards this spring.

While we do still wear heels from time to time (mainly lower or chunkier heels), we’re going to start trading in some of those heels for the flat shoes coming your way.
